POOL REGULATIONS

Memorandum

To:
All Residents of Schooner Cove Condominium
From:                Jackie Moccia, Director
Date:                 6/27/2006
Re:                    Pool Rules, Keys/Key Tags

Enclosed please find a copy of the Pool Rules and Regulations.  For those of you who are new to the
community, you should have received a pool key and blue numbered key tag from the former unit
owner of your unit, if not, then please complete the attached request form and send it along with your
check for $100.00 (payable to Schooner Cove Association) and mail it to our offices, as noted above.
Upon receipt, a key and blue key tag will be forwarded to you.  You must have your key with you at all
times in order to gain access to the pool, as there will not be a pool attendant at the pool this year.

Please review the rules carefully. There is a limit of four (4) guests per unit and there are to be no
personal parties held at the pool at any time.  Failure to abide by the pool rules may result in
suspension of pool privileges.  An attendant will be by twice a week to clean the locker rooms and
around the pool, please be considerate of your neighbors and pick up after yourselves (i.e. pick up
towels, pool toys, etc., dispose of cigarettes and trash appropriately in the provided containers, close
the umbrella, etc.)  Neither the Board of Directors nor the Management Company is responsible for
lost or stolen items left unattended at the pool or the locker rooms.  Your cooperation in making this
an enjoyable season for all, is greatly appreciated.

Please note that the pool is officially opening Friday, May 26th and will close for the season on
September 10th. It takes about two weeks prior to opening for the pool to be cleaned and chemically
prepared – please do not attempt to use the pool prior to the official opening date.  Pool hours are
from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be no daily attendant on duty during the weekdays and weekends
this year.  The pool will be maintained by the pool service company and locker room cleaning will be
done by an outside vendor.  Your Schooner Cove pool chairperson is Joan Suarez, Unit 119.  The
pool is not open during inclement weather.  Please do not call the emergency line for the
Management Company to request unlocking of the pool gate, swimming is not considered an
emergency.  Thank you!

Schooner Cove & Palmer Landing Pool Regulations

•  The pool hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily during the summer.
•   You must be a resident of Schooner Cove or Palmer Landing to have access to the pool (guests
must be accompanied by a resident).
•   There WILL NOT be any pool attendant at the pool this year so you MUST have your key to gain
access to the pool.  Please contact the Association's Property Management Company for a new key
and key tag or to report a lost key.  There is a  $100.00 fee for replacement of pool keys or request
for new pool key.  Please note – when purchasing a Unit at Schooner Cove and/or Palmer Landing,
the pool keys from the former unit owner should been passed along to new unit owners at closing.
•    Each resident is responsible for closing the gate upon entering and leaving the pool area.  Please
be sure that the gate latch is closed so that non-invited guests cannot enter the pool.
•    As a courtesy to your neighbors at Palmer Landing and Schooner Cove, please clean up after
yourselves.  Dispose of trash appropriately and put furniture back in place when you leave the pool
and close the umbrella. Any folding chairs, umbrella or other items that you may bring to the pool with
you should also leave with you when you leave the pool for the day. Remember, this is everyone’s
pool, and not a “hotel” environment.
•    Pets of any type are NOT allowed at the pool or in the locker room area.
•    No glass containers, bottles, or breakable items are allowed.
•    An adult MUST accompany children under the age of 12, and children may not run in the pool
area.
•    All lounge chairs must be used with a towel as suntan oils and other crèmes eventually wear them
down.
•    Babies with diapers may not enter the pool unless wearing diapers designed for pool use.
•    Please be respectful of non-smokers when smoking and place cigarette butts in receptacles
provided, not on the ground.
•    When the pool is crowded, floats or other toys are not allowed.  Please do not play ball or Frisbee
in the pool or pool area.
•    For the quiet enjoyment of all, only radios with earphones are allowed.
•    People with communicable diseases (including colds, open cuts, sores, or bandages) may not
enter the pool.  Please shower in the locker room(s) before entering the pool.
•    Please exercise discretion regarding the number of guests brought to the pool, especially on
weekends.  You must accompany your guests to the pool and remain with them at all times. There is a
maximum of 4 guests per unit.
•    There is no lifeguard at the pool.  Swimming is at your own risk. These rules and regulations have
been established for the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of all residents.  Your cooperation is
necessary.  Please share these rules with all members of your household and your guests.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED COOPERATION!
